To facilitate the best learning experience, we need to make the classroom learning environment as close to how things occur out there in the real world. Our curriculum is planned around cognitive themes and in integrating the curriculum, we teach topics from as many subjects as any theme makes available. In higher grades, projects and expeditions integrate a wider range of knowledge and skills, with increasing input from the students themselves.Keeping in consideration requirements of the government-based curriculum, the curriculum at Nisarga divides children’s school years into seven levels.
We strongly believe that meaningful learning cannot be rushed. Therefore, longer sessions are planned, for longer periods, where we can make the most out of the integrated curriculum- which includes investigation, exploration, observation, analysis, and application. It allows each student to work at their own pace, gives them time to contemplate on their experiences, and helps them develop individual learning styles. Teachers also keenly observe their students and facilitate their growth.
